The Bookstore came about through a confluence of people who are passionate about books and community. In 2019, when the town's only bookstore was set to close, a group of us came together to make a plan. A benevolent landlord, an experienced bookstore owner, enthusiastic volunteers, generous financial supporters, some seasoned booksellers, and many hands established a new home for our new store, in the former home of a former bookstore. We pack as diverse and whimsical a selection of titles and miscellany as we can fit in our 900+/- square feet. We welcome visitors from near and far, and especially enjoy the serendipity of paths crossing in our little bookstore.
